Join in a morning Dru yoga practice to energize your day! Enjoy feeling the stress melt away — this is time for you.
Students will be guided to work at their own pace. All levels of yoga enthusiasts will be able to benefit from
the Dru Yoga practice. Read description below. Beginners and drop-ins welcome.
NOTE: a morning child minding service
is available on some mornings through the community centre for an additional fee of $3.

Dru Yoga — Monday Evening
Monday evenings: 7:15pm – 8:45pm
Dru Yoga has its roots in hatha yoga. It is a specialized form of yoga that includes activation, energy block
release sequences (EBR's), yoga asana, as well as flowing sequences, mudras (hand gestures), positive affirmations,
empowering visualizations and deep relaxation. Dru works the body, mind and spirit, improving flexibility, emotional
balance and creating core stability. Dru helps build positive self awareness and is deeply relaxing &
rejuvenating for your whole being. Dru Yoga is fun and has something for everyone!

Hatha Yoga — Intro
Monday evenings: 5:30pm - 7:00pm
This program will provide a solid foundation for those who are new to yoga.
Through the practice of preparatory stretches and basic yoga posture (asana),
emphasis will be placed on developing body and breath awareness, stress reduction
and relaxation techniques. This class is suitable for beginner students.

Restorative Yoga (by Candlelight)
Thursday evenings, 7:00pm – 8:30pm
The antidote to stress is to relax deeply and be kind to ourselves. This class practices gentle asana, yoga therapies and restorative postures at the end of the day before going to bed to help you unwind and let go of tension. By slowing down, releasing blocked energy and supporting the body with yoga props provided, we will stretch and relax, renewing ourselves and moving us towards a restful sleep. This class is open to all levels of yoga experience.

Private Yoga Sessions with Sandra Leigh E-RYT500, DYT
Private session are personalized for your individual needs,
complimenting your existing practice, and inspiring the maintenance
of your own yoga practice. Home sessions can be held at my home in the West End,
next to Lost Lagoon at Stanley Park, or at your place and are about 1 hour in length.
